The TimeWeaver icon TimeWeaver™

TimeWeaver helps you keep images in perfect chronological order when you shoot with multiple cameras (or multiple memory cards). It lets you sync capture times across sources by adjusting the timestamps on one card to match another—down to the second.

This is especially useful for events like weddings, sports, and multi-camera shoots, where each camera may be set slightly ahead or behind. With TimeWeaver, you can quickly correct those time differences so all images line up correctly when you merge them into one job.

  • Shortcut: Use the Esc key to return to the file list.
  • Shortcut: Use OptionAlt + Scroll to zoom in and out.

  1. In the Select Files window, be sure you are in the File List tab.

  2. Select the images you want to use for TimeWeaving.

    • You can TimeWeave using all images, but it’s usually easier to select two or more images you know are in sequence—typically one image from each card/camera.
    • Choosing known matching moments (like the same scene shot from two cameras) makes it much easier to sync cameras accurately.
    • Check the "Show Thumbnails" checkbox to view image thumbnails. This will make it easier to select your images to Timeweave.

  3. Click the TimeWeaver button.

  4. Open the TimeWeaver tab.

  5. Adjust the images until they are in sync.

    • Click and drag an image to shift its capture time.

    • Move it until the correct timestamp lines up and the images appear in the right order.

    • When you click and drag a thumbnail, the entire camera card shifts with it.

    • Every image from that source moves together, which means you only need to move one image to sync the entire card.

  6. Use the zoom controls to fine-tune timing.

    • Use the zoom buttons on the right to jump between:
      • Years, Months, Days
      • Hours, Minutes, Seconds
      • Use the Fit button to display all TimeWeaver images in the main view at once.
