Creating Vertical Slideshows for Instagram and Social Media
ProSelect only supports video in a horizontal format like 16:9, but since social media likes vertical formats (9:16), this presents some challenges.

The good news is ProSelect can do this, but it is a bit of a workaround!

Here's the process.
  1. Copy the images for a vertical slideshow to an Image Set. In Working with Images select all the images and rotate them Left (it's on the tool bar).
  2. You can make title slides in Photoshop ((1080x1920) and bring them in as images. they will need to be rotated left. You can also create Title Slides in ProSelect by bringing in png files as I did in my video, but everything needs to be rotated prior to adding the file to a title slide as title slides can't be rotated.
  3. In Working with Slideshows, add the rotated images to the timeline. Add any title slides.
  4. Select your slideshow style and music. When you play your slideshow, it will be sideways. That'a OK
  5. Now, File > Export > Slideshow Movie. Choose HDTV 1080 US. Export and Save the file.
  6. Mac users can now open the video in Quicktime. Again, everything will be sideways. Go to Edit > Rotate Right.
  7. In Quicktime, File > Export as > 1080P.

PC users: You can rotate a video in Windows 10 using the Photos App. This web page as the details. https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-rotate-a-video-in...
