The easy reading Manuals available for ProSelect are automatically installed when you download and install ProSelect.

They can then be quickly accessed under the Help menu in ProSelect. These are the:

Quick Start Guide - ProSelect_QSG.pdf
The Full Reference Manual - ProSelect_Manual.pdf
Resources Guide - ProSelect_Resources_Guide.pdf
SendMyRooms Guide - SendMyRooms_Guide.pdf

They are in Adobe Acrobat format and require that you have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. (If you don't have this software you can download it for free from the Adobe web site.)

Manuals location on hard drive

When you install ProSelect, the manuals are installed on your computer in the same folder as the ProSelect program.  The following are the default locations:

On Windows - "C:\Program Files\ProStudioSoftware\ProSelect".

On Windows (64 Bit) - "C:\Program Files (x86)\ProStudioSoftware\ProSelect".

On Macs, the ProSelect folder is normally installed in your Applications folder.

Hint:
To reduce the download time, the manuals in the ProSelect download are smaller low resolution versions of the manuals. If you plan on printing out copies then you can optionally download the high resolution "Print versions" of the manuals from the ProStudio Software Web Site Download page.

Error Message from ProSelect

ProSelect uses your computer's Operating System to launch the PDF reading software. If you receive an error message when trying to access the manuals from within ProSelect (under the Help menu), then this this could be because:

1. Adobe Reader is not installed on that computer
2. We found in the past (on Windows), if Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader software were both installed then the associations could become mixed up.  This was fixed by re-installing Adobe Reader and checking the PDF association was pointing to Adobe Reader by default. (ie In Windows Explorer, right button on a PDF file and choose "Open With" - the one with the little arrow on the right, and select "Choose Default Program" and select Adobe Reader.  Make sure you tick the box next to "Always use the select Program to open this kind of file", then OK.
