Changing margins on printed reports

The paper size and margin setting for all printed reports are determined by the Page Setup settings.

If when printing proof sheets, the header information is run very close to the left and right margins, and you may need to allow more room for binding, and to eliminate it being cut off on other printers, then open up Page Setup and adjust the margin settings.

ProSelect saves your Page Setup settings for each printed report type (eg Print Order Report, Print Ordered Frames Report etc). So you need to do Page Setup for each report type otherwise when printing a different report, the settings will revert to the default ones for your printer.

Windows OS may be different

On Windows machines, some printer drivers don't like to have their setting saved and restored (see Problem when Printing) and to avoid this you can set ProSelect not to save your Printer Setup settings. However, this means that if you wish to use a different page setup from the default values, you need to so a Page Setup each time before you start the print.

In summary, if your page setup is not being saved then check that you do not have Printer Page Setup: Do not Save checked in Preferences -> General settings -> General -> General Defaults.

Multiple Printers

If you have more than one printer connected, make sure the one ProSelect is printing to is the default one then adjust settings in Page Setup.
