Missing prices and templates setup data after upgrade

Updating the ProSelect software doesn't remove your ProSelect Setup data (or Resources folder) data unless you manually did this or completely wiped your hard disk.

If you start the newly installed version of ProSelect and find this data missing then:

A)  If you didn't select to clear your ProSelect Setup Data, then they should still be on your computer.

    1. You may have logged in to your computer under another User.

    2. If your templates are showing in ProSelect (check this in Working with Layouts), but any overlay images are not shown (templates with missing images will have a red X across them which indicates that ProSelect was unable to locate the associated image file), matt backgrounds, room view images, frames etc, then it may be that you have changed the location of (or deleted/renamed) your ProSelect Resource folder or changed the Preference setting in ProSelect that points to that folder.  See this article "Finding the ProSelect Resources Folder".

    3. Your data file may have become corrupt and you will need to access a backup copy (see below).

B)  If you did clear your ProSelect Setup Data, then please see the section below for how to retrieve a backup copy.

Using a backup copy of the Prices & Templates data file

If you have backed up your ProSelect Data file, simply use the command File Menu --> ProSelect Data --> Import Data From... in ProSelect to reinstall the data.

Using an earlier copy of the ProSelect Data file

If you don't have a backup copy of your Prices & Templates data, then see the section "Restoring ProSelect Data from an auto-backup copy" in this article:  Clearing Preferences & Resetting/Restoring your Setup Data

Hint:
If you had made a backup of this data before upgrading then that would have been good too! Here's an article about how to do this:
