ProSelect has a feature that allows you to disable the slideshow button. This was added because some people found that they were accidentally clicking on the button while changing views.

By default this option is off, however you can turn it on/off in the Preferences -> General Settings -> General -> Mouse Options = Disable Slideshow View Button.

When this option is on,

• Your computer will "beep" when you click the Slideshow button rather than starting the Slideshow.
• The Slideshow button is disabled, however you can still start the Slideshow from the View Menu or by right-clicking on the Slideshow button and selecting one of the options.

If the above setting is turned off in your Preferences and you still hear a beep/ping, then this could be indicating an issue with your selected music file. Try removing and changing your music track as there may be a bad music file in your setup.
