Exporting Selected Hi-Res Images
If your client has selected all of their favorite images into Yes tab and you wish to get all of these images together outside of ProSelect, here are some different ways to do this depending on what you need to achieve.

If you need the selected original uncropped images

This is easy. ProSelect can move or copy all the original hi-res images associated with the images in the selected tab into a separate folder on your computer. If there are associated raw files in the same folder as the imported image these will be copied or moved as well.
  1. Select the Tab (eg the Yes Tab) that you have the required images in.
  2. Under the Album menu -> Original Images select to Copy or Move X Tab Images to...

If you only need low res copies

You can export the low-res images contained in ProSelect's album file from a selected tab to an external folder on your computer. The maximum size of these low-res images will be the size that you had set in the Preferences -> Importing Images -> Settings -> Adding Images -> Resize To when you first added them to the Album.

There are lots of options when doing this including whether you wish the exported images to include the effects applied in ProSelect (eg B&W or Sepia), the cropping, vignette, borders and even a copyright stamp.
  1. Select the Tab (eg the Yes Tab) that you have the required images in.
  2. Under the File menu -> Export -> Sample Images in Current Set (or All Sets).
  3. Select the size and other options that you require.
  4. Click the Export button and select the destination folder.

If you need hi-res copies with ProSelect's effects and/or cropping

This takes a little more work and requires ProSelect Pro and Photoshop.

First you need to determine the size of the hi-res images that you need. For example, if you needed them to include in a book then the page size of your book would be a good indication. If you are not sure then make them a little larger than the size you think you need but not much larger than your cameras original image size.  For example, a full frame image from a 12Mpixel camera will produce an image that is around 9"x13.5" at 300ppi, so you could create a print paper size at exactly that size or another size around that size.
  1. Save the Album before you start this.
  2. Open Print Paper Sizes window (under the Orders menu) and check that the size you want is available. If not, then just add it. Remember to get a full frame image, the height needs to be exactly 1.5 times the width.
  3. Open Price List Setup (under the Orders menu) and Add a new price list item using your selected Print Paper Size. Any Presentation Option will do and the price can be zero.
  4. Back in Thumbnail View, click the Tab with the images in (eg the Yes tab).
  5. Choose Select All (under the Edit menu) or the keyboard shortcut  Cmd/Comtrol-A.
  6. If you wish to remove any cropping on all of the images you can select Remove Crop (from the Edit Menu).
  7. Click on the Shopping Cart icon in the right-hand toolbar to open with Place Order window with all of the image selected.
  8. You can optionally use the Add Group button if you wish to keep all these "orders" separate.
  9. Select the price list item that you just created from the drop down menu and click Quick Add.
  10. Before running Hi-Res Production, open the Preferences -> Hi-Res Production -> Output Settings and make sure that you have setup your output resolution to what you need (eg 300 ppi) and set Odd Sized Images: Output at Exact Size and the file format that you want (eg high quality JPEG files).
  11. Select Produce High-Res Images (under the Production menu).
  12. If you put the "orders" in a separate Order Group, set the Work on: drop down menu to that group (top left corner).
  13. Click the Check All button to select all images for production.
  14. Set the Output folder.
  15. Click on the Make Hi-Res Images button to start production.
  16. If you don't wish to keep the changes that you made to the album to do this then just don't save the album when you have finished.
