Centering an opening in a Template
You may need to center an opening in a template due to a couple of reasons.

If you are designing a layout template for a matt where the image size is set and the outside size can vary, you can do either:

  1. Drag the opening so the left side is the required border distance from the left side of the template and click the "Add Even Border" button. This will resize the template with the left size border distance on all sides.
  2. Click the "Surround" radio button, enter the required border size in the adjacent box and click "Apply Changes" button. The set border size will be on all sides.

If you are designing a layout template with a fixed overall size, then to center an opening:

  1. Drag and drop the ruler on the center mark on the top edge of the template.

  2. Select the opening and click the "Align Center Horizontally" button.

  3. Drag and drop the ruler on the center mark on the left or right edge of the template.

  4. Click the "Align Center Vertically" button.
