ProSelect doesn't do anything after selecting New Album

The Windows version of ProSelect prompts you to select a folder of images to load when you selected New Album.

The Mac version doesn't do this by default because Mac users generally like to use the drag and drop method for adding images to an album. (ie by dragging a folder of images or selected images from the Finder into ProSelect's Image list or onto a Set icon).

Feature Setting

You can set the ProSelect software to behave the same way in Mac and Windows by changing the Preference setting for this feature to on/off in the Preferences -> General Settings -> General -> General Defaults -> On New Album : Prompt to Add Folder.

Alternatively, other ways you can add images to an album is by:

A) Clicking the "Add Folder of Images" button (at the bottom of the Image List) and select a folder of images you wish to add, or
B) Use the "Add folder of Images" or "Add One"  image commands (under the Album menu).

Differences between Mac & Windows

This difference in functionality between the Windows and Mac versions has caused some confusion as people today tend to move from one to the other (or use a mix of both), so this is why we added this option. Please also see the article "Differences between Mac and Windows versions" for this and other helpful hints.
