New Layouts have an odd Style or Background Color

Whenever you add a new layout to a ProSelect album, ProSelect automatically adds the topmost style (from your Styles list) to the template that you have just added.

By default, the topmost style is called "None" and this style normally has a white background and no borders (unless you have changed it!).

If you have altered the styles and wish to get back to the way it was:

  1. Open the Edit Styles window (under the Templates Menu)
  2. Check that the topmost Style in the list is call "None". If not, then drag the "None" style to the top of the list OR create a new style and name it "None".
  3. Click on the "None" style in the list to select it and then in the Style Settings at the bottom do the following
  4. In the Mat (background) area select to Use Fill Color and set that color to White (by clicking on the the color rectangle and choose a color)
  5. In Image Borders area select No Borders
  6. In Graphic Blocks area select Use Fill Color and set the color to gray
  7. Click on the Apply Changes button
  8. Close the Edit Layout Styles Window

If you wish to apply this style to any existing layouts, select the layouts then choose the None style from the Select Layout Style popup menu in the Right-hand tool bar.
