How To Check Your ProSelect Installation

Firstly let's check if the default resources have been installed with the program by opening ProSelect and choosing Setup Frames (under the Resources menu).  If the Default Frames folder is NOT shown in the "Frame Resources" area on the right, then please choose ONE of the following options below to quickly resolve this.

Solution

Make sure you download and install the current ProSelect 2011r2.2 or newer from the Downloads page, then:

If you haven't Set Up any Prices &/or Templates

(or none you wish to keep)

The easiest way to install ALL the Default Resources data is to:

1. Open ProSelect
2. Under the File menu, choose Prices & Templates Data --> Reset to Default Setup
3. This may take 10 seconds to complete.

If only wishing to Add the Default Frames Images

(If you have already added/modified your prices & templates and want to keep them)

1. Open ProSelect
2. In the Setup Frames window (under the Resources menu in ProSelect), click on the "Install Default Frames" button
3. Choose Yes when promoted.
4. Then drag the folder (or selected images within that folder) to the "Available Frames" area on the left.

If wishing to Add ALL the Default Resource Files

(If you have already added/modified your prices & templates and want to keep them)

The second easiest way to add all these is to clear the Preferences data. This forces ProSelect to copy the default files to your ProSelect Resources area (which you nominated in your initial ProSelect install). However you will then need to re-enter your Registration Key details (simply use the "Download from TimeExposure.com" method if connected to the Internet) and any preference settings you have made.

To do this,

1. Make sure ProSelect is NOT open
2. Choose to start ProSelect while holding down the SHIFT key. This should reveal a window for clearing your data.
3. Then make sure you select the top option (Preferences) only.
4. Then click on the Continue button
5. You will need to register & active the program again and update your Preferences to any setting that you may have changed.
