If you wish to add a fixed size border around an image produced using Hi-Res Production, then best to use a template to achieve this.

You can do this a few different ways and this may be the best way using the following example (1" black border around 8x10 image) :

1. Create a fixed size, composite template with an overall size of 10x12 and a centred opening of 8x10.
2. In "Working with Layouts", use this template to add layouts to the album and add your images into each layout.
3. Apply a Template Style setup with just black background (mat) color to each layout.
4. Order the Layouts (use Custom Product button if you haven't setup this in the price list).
5. In Hi-Res Production, produce them under the Composites tab.

Hint: If you wish to create multiple layouts like this from a set of selected images, you can select all the images in the images list (on the left) and drop them onto you new template (below the bar in Thumbnail View).
