Some or all Price Lists are disabled

If you are unable to select one or more price lists using the Orders menu -> Use Price List  or from the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Place Order window then check the following:

Lock Price Lists is turned on

Make sure that you haven't turned on the Lock Price Lists option under the Order Menu. This feature is designed to prevent casual access to your price list data and will prevent anyone from viewing other price lists, making any changes to your prices or selecting another price list.

If you have turned this on, then you need to select the Lock Price List Menu again while holding down both the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard to unlock them.

Note: In your Preferences -> Pricing & Ordering -> Settings -> On Program startup, you can select to always have your Price Lists locked each time you start ProSelect. In this case, you would need to manually unlock them using the above method each time you start ProSelect.

Using the Credit Based Pricing

When you enable Credit Based Pricing (under Orders Menu -> Credit Based Pricing Setup) then you are required to select at least one price list to be used for this system.

To prevent you from accidentally selecting a Credit Based price list for a non-Credit Based client and visa versa, ProSelect will only allow you to select a Credit Based price list when the currently selected client is setup to use the credit based system. This is done in the Client Setup window (under Orders Menu) by checking the Credit based pricing: Yes checkbox.

Likewise, if you have setup the client to use Credit Based pricing then ProSelect won't allow you to select any non-Credit Based price lists.

To solve this problem either:

(a) Turn off Enable Credit Based Pricing in the Credit Based Pricing Setup window.

(b) Select or deselect Credit based pricing: Yes for the currently selected client

Note: If you are using Credit Based Pricing as your regular selling method, then you can check New Clients Always use credits in the Credit based Pricing Setup window. When this is selected, you won't need to remember to set this option in the Client Setup window each time you start a new album for add additional clients to an existing album.
