Use C1 Pro in the RAW workflow
It is possible to use C1 Pro in your workflow however, since ProSelect is currently designed to work closely with Photoshop, using C1 Pro does add a bit of extra work to the process.

Either way, we recommend shooting RAW+jpeg (see Working with Raw images in ProSelect) so you don't need to convert your RAWs prior to loading them into ProSelect.

After the sales session:

  1. Use the Original Images -> Move Ordered Images... (Album Menu) to move the images that you need for production into a new folder. If you have setup ProSelect for Raw+jpeg workflow then both the jpegs and Raw files will be moved.

  2. Open C1 Pro and select that folder and do your conversions. Make sure that the converted files (they can be .jpg or .tif types) are saved back into the same folder at full resolution.

  3. Back in ProSelect's Production module, if you have save the converted files as .tif, then click the Re-link All button. This will cause ProSelect to locate the latest version of the ordered files and you will see a "link" symbol next to each image. If you have save them as .jpgs (and you initally loaded .jpg files) then ProSelect will just work with the newly converted .jpgs.

  4. Use to "Open in Photoshop" to do any necessary retouching and continue as before.
